The Lean Spectrum

Use the Lean Spectrum to help you improve. Click here to see your standard for comparison. I created the Lean Spectrum because for more than three decades, the focus of Lean management in most organizations has been far too narrow; i.e., just continuous improvement (“Lean tools”). The purpose of the Lean Spectrum is to identify areas of strength and weakness and to produce a more balanced practice of Lean management to continuously achieve better overall results quarter-to-quarter and year-to-year. It also serves the dual role of a current and future state map of Lean management progress.
